Novice Driver Refresher
- For a Novice Driver who is moving to the class 5 license
- Minimum of one, 90-minute lesson 1-7 days prior to the road test to review the test’s concepts is recommended
- Test Package (below) is available for students who complete a minimum of one lesson and wish to use a WDS car (optional)
Test Package
- Test Package (optional) consists of a 90-minute warm-up/review and use of WDS car for the student’s road test
- To qualify must have a minimum of 6 hours of training at the school
- Road Test appointment is made by Joan Wallace Driving School
Senior Refresher
- Minimum of one, 90-minute lesson to make the senior aware of the road test’s requirements and performance expectations
- (Optional) Second lesson would assess the senior’s readiness to complete the road test*
- Seniors may purchase a senior’s test package (2.5-3 hours) after a refresher session
- WDS will make the test appointment with ICBC, take the client for a warm-up drive, present the client for the road test and will participate in the debrief after the test
Change of Jurisdiction
- Minimum of one, 90-minute lessons
- If the client wants to use one of our vehicles during the road test, he/she must purchase a test package (usually 2.5 hours) and the school will arrange the appointment for the road test
- Use of the school’s vehicle for the road test is permitted upon the recommendation of the instructor
